It the days of Solaris we had a utility 'unix2dos' that changed the end of line
characters when transporting text files from the Solaris world to the Microsoft
one. Unfortunately there is no obvious replacement for 'unix2dos'
in the NutCracker environment. Some of the text files generated from IA
utilities, particularly ones wrapped in scripts, still need the end of line
characters changing. What bits of scripting can be tagged on to existing
scripts to do this reversal? I'm thinking of something based on 'awk' 'tr',
'sed' etc.
