The name of the server has to be in the user list (apiadmin), in addition to clients names. -----Original Message----- From: Ken Heywood [mailto:kheywood@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 30 December, 2003 23:50 To: Foxboro Freelist (E-mail) Subject: [foxboro] AIM OPC Server It' not supposed to be this tough ... I verified that AIM*API is loaded, configured with OPC package authorized and API is running. I get an error dialog box "Could not get object PSTCFGAIM.OPC.1" with code "0x80070005" when I open the OPC configurator. I can't configure any alias objects at this point. Does anyone have any advice? * K _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
