[foxboro] COMMUNICATION INT30FT TO MODICON PLC HOT STANDBY CONFIGURATION

In our PLC configuration  (Modicon 984-785 E  Hot Standby)
We use two Modbus / RS232 port to each PLC CPU=20
to connect with  Foxboro INT30 FT.

It means that we must  connect each port of Integrator to two ports=20
of each  PLC - one port to PLC A and the other one to PLC B.

We try to  do this type of connection using three Modems for each line,
communication is OK but we lost a diagnostic of cable problem -=20
when we disconnect one port from PLC side (while the other port of the =
PLC  is
still connected)

Can  any one advise type  of Modem , switch configuration, ect,
so we shell have full diagnostic.
