Jared, We have an exchange 2003 cluster running server 2003 with groupshield 6 installed. I can tell you, Groupshield 6.0 seems to be a touchy product. We've had numerous problems with it that require custom hotfixes from NAI. So in my opinion, yes, GSE could be your problem. But to check things, are your queued messages have a status of "pending submission" ? If so you need to make sure your smtp connector is attached to the correct virtual server and that publishing rules in your firewall allow connections to and from the virtual ip. Make sure it's also setup as the routing group master. You can check that in Exchange System Manager. The SMTP is somehow still on a 20 minute delay. Does anything think it could be McAfee Groupshield doing this?? -----Original Message----- From: Shevill, Mark M SITI-ITIBCE22 [mailto:Mark.Shevill@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, May 21, 2004 10:09 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: messages sitting in Que!! http://www.MSExchange.org/ Which queue is it sitting in? Awaiting lookup; Waiting routed? Use perfmon to see if the any messages are leaving and what are coming in? Have you been spam blacklisted anywhere? Is the remote server performing a reverse DNS lookup? And do you have a ptr record registered? Try and force the connection; restart the Virtual server; restart IIS; Mark Shevill IMG Messaging Technical Lead Shell Information Technology International Limited Rowlandsway, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 5SB, United Kingdom Tel: +44 161 435 8709 Fax: +44 161 933 3502 Other Tel: +44 7932 625510 Email: Mark.Shevill@xxxxxxxxx Internet: http://www.shell.com -----Original Message----- From: Jared Johnson [mailto:jaredsjazz@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 21 May 2004 15:03 To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] messages sitting in Que!! http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi All We have hundreds of messages sitting in the Virtual SMTP que.
