if i cleared all the logs in the mdbdata folder, would it recreate everything and work properly?
 
As long as your server is in a clean shut down state, you can remove all your log files EXCEPT your most current one.

Did you try giving your server a reboot? Are there any logs in your Arcserv logs? Don't use Arcserv to do your backups on the next job; try using netbackup to see if it purges; then we can isolate whethere it's Exchange or Arcserv.

over the last 2 weeks i've had several problems with my exchange server (harddrive filling due to the log files not deleting then i plugged in an old server that had AD on it and it replicated back to my exchange server causing numerous problems which filled my event viewer. after i resolved the previous 2 issues i cleared my event viewer because it was full of red :)).
if i cleared all the logs in the mdbdata folder, would it recreate everything and work properly?
