I had a similar situation and here's how I fixed it. My Computer>Properties>Advance>Performance Options> and have Background Services checked instead of Applications. The user has never complained since. All other Office applications are running just fine. She gets a "not enough virtual memory to open application" error. She has been running fine for 3 years. I uninstalled Office and reinstalled, even gave her new memory, 128MB, and reset her virtual memory to 3x amount of RAM. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Marie L.
