 Good questions all

1) The org moved from one end of Philly to another
2) Public IP address changed (mail server), all changes made on firewall
3) SET command shows logon server as CKFS01, and dns points to correct
address on the NAT. Veritas server also shows as CKFS01
4) Using standard 192.x ip range, nothing changed here
5) Single server environment

Anything else?

Thanks for your help.

So, you made significant changes to the network topology, and since then
it isn't working (whether next door as Steve speculates or across the
country <g>)?

Did you move the key infrastructure components relative to the Exchange
pieces (in this case, Exchange servers, DC/GC, Wherever Veritas lives)?

If you go to the Exchange Server and do a SET at the CMD prompt, what is
shown as the logon server?
How about from the Veritas server?

It sounds like you have something either unable to perform the
authentication because it can't find or can't reach your security
provider (AD that is) - which if you were NATting in some fashion and
changed that around could make a lot of sense.

Can you elaborate on the network topology that gets you from each of the
key components I mention here (as well as any others you think are
pertinent) to the other parts? One thing I left off up there - DNS of
course - if that lives or is provided somewhere other than via the DC.

This maybe a stupid question, I'm not sure, but when you say the
organisation moved what do you mean?

Has this ever worked since the organisation move?

No passwords have changed. What has changed is the actual location of
the organization, though it is a NAT'd network. This seems to have
started once the move from one location to another was completed

Have any passwords been changed recently that are used in Exchange or
the backup system?

 Hi Folks;

In backing up the system (W2003/Exchange 5.5) after a shutdown, I
started receiving the following errors. Any ideas? Something to be
concerned about? (obviously). Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The correct technical term for haggis stalking is "havering".
