Amy, the advanced search in Outlook will allow you to search for a word or
phrase in the subject or body of a message.

Does anyone know if there is any software out there that can search an
exchange database for phrases within email messages?
Wee are required to keep all incoming and outgoin emails for 7 years. Now we
are being asked to back through the last 3 years worth of emails to check
for certain phrases for legal reasons.

thanks
