Recovering an Exchange2000 Information Store with total loss of AD

I need to recover an information store for which we no longer have the 
corresponding Active Directory.  I am not too bothered about actually using 
these stores again, rather I need to extract the data from them.
I do have some of the Active Directory files but not enough for the server to 
recover them.
