Hi Mahadevan

The cluster is for normal fie sharing and not for exchange.I've got 4 HDD's controlled by an extrenal Array Conroller configured as RAID 5.

Is there any other way i can setup a normal A/P node file server so that i can chose Quorum drive .What you suggest would be the best Quorum Type to implement.

Local or MNS?

thanks
faizan

Faizan,

The Shared Disk should be partitioned with NTFS (Basic) for Exchange Clustering. Hence it will not support RAID 5.
Configure the quqntum drive with RAID 1 (Which is recomended)

Hi

Am pretty stcuk up with Two Node File cluster which i'm trying to implement.Even tried microsoft KB's but for no good.

This is the situation

Two Servers-Node A and Node B

2 public and private ip's assigned with windows server 2003 working perfectly fine

Configured RAID 5 on shared clsuter box through HP smart array with 4 HDD's

The problem is that the Quorum drive which i've assigned as Q is not showing separate but with all other drives  .every thing is working perfectly fine except the quorum disk not showing independently

Need some urgent help on the same
