hi, i'm facing the same problem like yours. ----- Original Message ----- From: Opeyemi Olomo To: [ExchangeList] Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 13:35 PM Subject: [exchangelist] Re: Problem with mailbox rights http://www.MSExchange.org/ No. It doesn't automatically refresh at the queue viewer, I'll have to do it manually. I didn't have any problem while applying the service pack. The installation went smoothly. I even applied the roll-up patch for SP3 and it went smoothly too. Do you have any idea that might help me? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Opeyemi Olomo Corporate Development, Ocean and Oil Holdings 10th Floor, The Octagon 13A AJ Marinho Drive, Victoria Island Lagos Office Tel No: +234 1 320 0818-9 Ext: 123 Mobile No: +234 802 291 0164 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Hery [mailto:hery@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 7:27 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Re: Problem with mailbox rights http://www.MSExchange.org/ hi opeyemi, does your ex2k sp3 can automatic refresh at the queue viewer ? have you get any problem applying and using sp3 ? ----- Original Message ----- From: Opeyemi Olomo To: [ExchangeList] Sent: Friday, May 30, 2003 15:31 PM Subject: [exchangelist] Problem with mailbox rights http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi all, I've been having some problems lately since I re-installed my e2k server due to corrupt logs. I used exmerge to restore all the clients mail because my backup failed. Everything is up and running now but anytime I try to use Exmerge to backup mails in PST form, I get some errors on some mailboxes complaining of insufficient rights. If I try to open this mailboxes from the M: directory, it gives me "access denied". I checked the mailbox rights from the user properties and I found out that full mailbox access was denied for Administrator. I tried to edit this but it failed cos it seems to be an inherited permission. Even the mailboxes that I can open from the M: directory have full mailbox access denied for administrator. I am using win2k sp3 and e2k sp3. What am I doing wrong? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Opeyemi Olomo Corporate Development, Ocean and Oil Holdings 10th Floor, The Octagon 13A AJ Marinho Drive, Victoria Island Lagos Office Tel No: +234 1 320 0818-9 Ext: 123 Mobile No: +234 802 291 0164 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: hery222@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: o.olomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: hery222@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
