The smtp address in Exchange is exactly correct. Any other ideas?

You should check the smtp mail address given in exchange server. This should
match the local nt user email address.

Hope this helps

Subject: [exchangelist] POP3 Transfer to Exchange 5.5 Inbox

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Strange problem with Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on an SBS 4.5 SP6a system
using the MS POP Connector. A certain user is a properly configured
recipient in the POP Connector, whose account is linked to their primary NT
user account, which in turn by alias is linked to their Exchange mailbox.

The POP Connector goes out to the external mail host and pulls this user's
mail, but for some reason it is not showing up in user's Outlook 2000 inbox.
The downloaded mail seems to be disappearing. It is not incrementing the
user's private store, and there are no Administrator messages indicating any
problems. I have checked all the user's NT, Exchange and POP Connector
settings and everything seems to be in order. In fact these settings are
similar to other domain users and mail clients who are getting their pulled
POP mail distributed to them in normal fashion.

Exchange and POP Connector logging are offering no clues. Not sure where to
look at this point. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Fred Orcutt
