Moving mailboxes between storage groups & mailbox stores on the same server

Exchange Server 2003... I have two Storage Groups, each with one Mailbox store.
From the ADU&C MMC, can I simply move the users to the other Mailbox
store in a different SG? I ran a few tests, but I am wondering if
their are any behind the scenes things that need to be modified or
will come back to haunt me.
