Subject: [exchangelist] Moving Exchange 2003 Database Files

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hi Chaps,

Quick question about moving Exchange Database files.

I've looked at this article: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF001.html

1. BACKUP

2. Dismount Store

3. Change location of Log and system files in ESM

4. Change location of EDB and STM files

5. Copy files to new location

6. Mount Store

And this is the way I plan to do it. But it all looks deceptively simple,
are there any "gotchas"
I should be aware of?

Cheers,

Jason
