This isn't going to be much of a help, but I would look for a product out there that you can run on the Unix box to convert all the mail boxes into .PST files. This is not a one step solution like a migration program would be, but at least it would take a lot of the manual labor out - if such a product even exists... Very easy process even though it could be a lengthy one (with 500Mb+ mailboxes) -----Original Message----- From: Watkins, Richard (DTF) [mailto:Watkins.Richard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 06 May 2002 7:34 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Migrating from Unix BSD to Exchange 5.5 http://www.MSExchange.org/ OK...if you cannot find a way to migrate user's mail from the existing BSD server to Exchange...I would use Outlook to open each user's mail...save to "PST" format...then import data to Exchange...is this possible? But all these clients work on Windows platform We need not to change those client software once we migrated to Exchage5.5 What really I need is to import /var/mail folder of Unix BSD server(which contain undistributed mails of users) to Exchange server.
