Exchange monitoring

I have an Exchange5.5 running on a Windows2K server. I want to assure that
my system always runs well, so every half an hour I send 1 mail from my mail
client to my mailbox in the Internet and 1 mail from Internet to my mail
client. If I receive mails both by my mail client and mailbox in the
Internet, it means that my mail system is working well.
Up to now, I have done this job manually.
Do you know how I can do it automatically ?
