Are you able to ping the Exchange server from your 2K box? This sounds more like a network connectivity issue than a 'patch'issue. My workstation is a W2K machine. I loaded the exchange administrator on my w/s. When I try to connect to the server, I get the following error. A connection could not be made to the Microsoft Exchange Server Computer 'server'. The Microsoft Exchange Server does not respond. Microsoft Exchange Directory ID no: DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM I read up on problems involving encryption that required certain patches to be applied. Those patches are on the server. Any advice would be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: Chris.Wall@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
