Database .edb defragment

hi all,
i've defrag the database "priv1.edb" using eseutil /d
i'm using exchange 2000 enterprise.
before defrag, it's size is like this :
used : 3.448.905.728 bytes
free : 11.266.117.632 bytes
total : 14.715.023.360 bytes
after defrag :
used : 3.400.671.232 bytes
free : 11.314.352.128 bytes
total : 14.715.023.360 bytes
so, i only get about 47 MB back.
and the log files still exist with big size.
how to reduce or delete the log files ?
