Corrupted Attachment reported by veritas backups

Problem:
While backing up the individual mailboxes, Veritas is reporting that
there is a message with a corrupted attachment is not ably to verify.
Veritas support document 255047 states to remove the message to solve
the problem. The messages / attachment went to a large distribution
list. I will have to remove it manually from hundreds of boxes.
Is there a tool that I can use to remove that message and attachment
from the message store?
