[ExchangeList] ActiveSync and OMA

Goodmorning,
I have an Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server as a backend-server and want
to follow Method 2 of Microsoft document 817379 in order to start
communicating with handheld devices, like Palm-Treo650.
Question, does following this procedure affects the current
configuration and the use of Outlook Web Access?
A quick response would be appreciated.
