Upcoming Public Outreach Events
We have two events this week.
Thursday, January 21st is Irving Elementary (3220 E Pueblo Ave in Mesa 85104)
from 6:30-8:00 pm. This is a star gazing night for the school. Contact is
Eileen Kruer. Nearest cross streets are 32nd St & Pueblo. Set up location is
the basketball courts on the west side of the school. They expect about 120
participants.
Friday, January 22nd is Salt River Tribal Library (1880 N Longmore in
Scottsdale 85256) from 6:30-9:00 pm. This is a star party for literacy night.
They are expecting about 50 people. Nearest cross streets are Longmore &
McDowell. Setup will be in the parking lot on the north side. Contact is Pat
Donahower. I have enough scopes for this event but you can come and help
celebrate the night sky.
If you can provide a telescope or assistance for these events please send an

want to bring a telescope, we can always use some help in talking about
astronomy to the participants.
