There is a great chance to see 5 planets in the pre-dawn sky. If you get
up early it is a treat, but also a bit of a challenge. The tough one is
Mercury. Below is a link to the Sky & Telescope page describing the
event. I have included a chart of the next week with times for Civil
Twilight (sky starts to get bright), Sunrise, and the time Mercury rises.
At the bottom of the email is a link to a US Naval Observatory site that
provides the timing for the Sun and Planets. The next two weeks is the time
when Mercury will be highest before sunrise, but still very low on the
horizon. Happy hunting.
