To all EVAC members:
This is just a reminder that our regular monthly meeting is this Friday,
February 17th, at the usual time and place (7:30 PM at the Gilbert Library on
Val Vista and Guadalupe). We had our first board meeting of the year this past
Monday night and I have a few things I want to share with the membership.
We do have a speaker this month: Craig Hardgrove from ASU, who is the Manager
of a cube sat launch for a lunar satellite, will talk about looking for water
at the Moon's poles. We may (or may not) have divining rods available for
display.
Don't forget to bring your checkbook or cash to pay your dues. Currently, only
about 50 members have renewed. We'll devote some time to this at the meeting!
Everyone is welcome to join us for a pre-meeting dinner at Golden Corral,
beginning at 5:30 PM on meeting night. The restaurant is located at 1318 N.
Cooper Rd in Gilbert, about 5 miles West-Northwest from the library.
