Outreach Events
We have two events this week.
Wednesday, February 15th is Coronado Elementary (4333 S De Anza Blvd in Gilbert
85297) from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is a school STEM night. They expect about 300
participants. Nearest cross streets are Higley & Germann Rd. Setup location
will be pointed out by school coordinators. Contact is Stephanie Wojtovich and
Shannon Lame.
Thursday, February 16th is Kyrene de la Mariposa Elementary (50 E Know Rd in
Tempe 85284) from 6:30-8:30 pm. This is a school star party. They expect about
200 people. Nearest cross streets are Ray Rd & Rural Rd. Set up will be on the
main basketball courts. Contact is Laura Mehall.
If you can provide a telescope or assistance for these events please send an
email to events@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you don't want to bring a telescope, we can
always use some help in talking about astronomy to the participants.
