The Arizona House is considering bill HR 2507 which would expand Electronic
Message Centers (digital billboards) across the state. You can find the

This legislation undermines the bi-partisan compromise brokered by Gov.
Brewer in 2012 to protect the numerous professional observatories in
Arizona. The bill, as currently proposed, draws a radius of 75 miles from
specific observatories, but does not protect Mt. Graham, the Grand Canyon,
or the numerous sites used by amateur astronomers.
Please contact state representatives and senators to oppose this
legislative end run around the earlier compromise that was reached with all
concerned parties. This is a bad bill for Arizona dark skies.
