Oh yes Bari, how familiar that sounds.
Let me try to comfort you by reminding you that teachers all over the world
feel the same.
It is not for nothing that the story about the man who wanted to become a
teacher is so famous.
Remember the story?
Once there was a man named Nathan. He wanted very much to be a teacher. So
he went to seek the advice of the wisest, most highly respected counselor in
the land.
"Wise counselor," Nathan began, "it has always been my dream to be a
teacher. I want to stimulate the minds of the young people of our land. I
want to lead them down the road of knowledge. Please tell me the secret of
becoming a teacher."

My advice?
Take a warm bath, forget all about school en pupils tonight, have a long
night of sleep, get up late tomorrow morning, shower again with lots of
soap, prepare yourself a healthy breakfast with a strong cup of tea, and
after all that look at yourself in the mirror and ask your reflection: Would
I rather stay home for the rest of the week or do I want to get back to
school and drag my students through the bagrut exam? You'll know the answer.
