2003). He hasn't received his grade yet,but he asked me today if he will
need to re-sit his oral if he decides to do the summer exam. If anyone knows

No.  Since  he will be taking the old format of the exam, in order to be
able to compare and take the highest of the two grades, he does not take the
oral exam again.
