[etni] opinion writing

HELP! if the question asked for the writing is an opinion, is it ok to write
for and against, as long as you state your opinion? i know that if you are
asked to write for and against, you must write it. but - if it's a straight
opinion question, is writing for and aginst an option or are they penalized
(like off-topic)?
