For those lucky ones who are free on Fridays or finish on the early side, you
are invited to the spring
SOUTHERN FRIED JAM/SING-AROUND
Friday, April 16 in Lahav Forest
Gathering at 11 AM and going on till we're 'bushed"
This is an informal musical get-together. Bring your instruments ( polished
vocal chords, spoons, washboards, guitars, etc.) and a picnic lunch...folding
chairs or blanket for your "assets". Print out copies of your favorite song to
pass around and copies of Rise Up Singing! if you own one!
Directions: Take Route 40 to the Dvira Junction, just a few minutes south of
Bet Kama intersection. Turn onto Route 326 at Dvira Junction and drive 7 kms.
down the road. You'll see the map of Lahav Forest. Turn right and go up the
hill, following the signs to theJoe Alon Bedouin Museum and park. Look for the
steps from the parking lot going down into the picnic area and we'll be at the
horseshoe-shaped table!
