Hi Avraham Enjoyed your link immensely although it obviously has very little similarity to the original story. I loved Topol in his role, he was such a convincing womanizer!! Had never come across it before. There actually is a short movie which is much more loyal to the story. It is very old, black and white with old time British actors such as Wilfred Hyde-White who played in "My Fair Lady". The acting is rather "hammy" especially Mr Kelada who is quite exagerrated. Interestingly the movie is preceded by an introduction by Somerset Maugham himself. I ordered a copy from ebay. It is called "Trio" as it includes movie versions of three Maugham stories. I think it would be much more suitable for your students :-) Here is a clip: http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/537311/Trio-Movie-Clip-Mr-Know-All.html Best wishes, Judi G. ************************************** ** Join ETNI on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/31737970668/ ** ETNI Blog and Poll http://ask-etni.blogspot.co.il/ ** Etni homepage - http://www.etni.org ** post to ETNI List - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** help - ask@xxxxxxxx ***************************************
