This is what I had my students do for their logs:

 The is the letter you must include at the front of your log:

Date

Dear Reader,

My name is _______ and this is my literature log. (This is the opening
sentence)


All of the following must be included in the following paragraphs:

Which text you identified with most and why

Which text you least identified with and why.

Something that you learned during the process of the literature
program, and will take with you in the future.

Optional: Suggestions, recommendations for the literature program and log in
the future.


Yours sincerely,

(Your name)


 I got some interesting products. I also got some that just seemed to be
what THEY thought I would want to read. But I think it encouraged reflection
- both on their parts AND on mine!
