An Outlook Express question, if you may:

I send a lot of letters to people; I don't want to spread their addresses 
around.
Up until just now, I could click the address icon next to the to or CC; and 
I get a dialog box:  select recipeints.

I could type the beginning of the name; the name comes up and I click BCC.

Now, when I type the name of a friend, the name doesn't come up.  It 
suddenly goes by the last name only..
How could something like this have changed by itself?
