**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org ****

As you can see, there are severe problems with Maths as well as English. None
of the problems has been solved.
The letter from the Irgun was sent to Prof. Katz. Teachers have, so far, not
been sent any official correspondence from the Irgun. From my call yesterday
to the secretary of Bracha Maziel, a letter will be sent to English teachers
very soon (and, I presume, to Math teachers).
When we get the letter, we can start planning. In the meantime, I don't
understand what the panic is all about. It's basically the Oral Bagrut that
will be affected for 11th grade native speakers, and other students who were
going to take the first modules.
Directives will be given (and not impossible ones this time, I'm sure). The
ministry and the English inspectorate cannot stand in the way of thousands of
students getting their bagrut.
Carry on teaching English and let the powers that be sort out this horrible
mess we've all got into.
Nina
