All, The olive-sided flycatcher was the highlight of the year for me!  I so
miss hearing that bird's song and I was lucky to hear this guy singing on
migration. I spent two summers working at a biological station in the
Colorado Rockies in the 1990s.  My daily alarm clock there consisted of an
olive-sided flycatcher and a white-crowned sparrow perched and singing
outside my cabin every morning.  :-)

Comments:     Conducting cerulean warbler survey (no audio lure). Stopped and
counted birds for a total of 3 hours at stops along a 3 mile stretch of roads;
however, actual mileage surveyed was probably closer to 2 miles. Olive-sided
flycatcher seen and heard on private property along White Oak Road across from
The Brow condos and above pond.  After a few minutes, the olive-sided
flycatcher
flew toward pond and out of view and hearing range. I spent another 30 minutes
trying to relocate it, but the bird was last observed heading further into
property along a private road, so I could not relocate it.  This spot also
had E. kingbird, phoebe, great-crested flycatcher, and e. wood pewee.
