Mark and I did a little checking around this morning and found 2 Sandhill
Cranes feeding in a corn field off Grandview Lane at about 8:30 this
morning. They were down near the river, so at a bit of distance. Got some
photos, though. Note: when we went back around noon on the way home we
didn't see them, though.

After photographing the cranes we went to Lake Julian and Wayne Forsythe
was there when we arrived and was looking at a White-winged Scoter that was
pretty close to the shore. We also got some photos of that. We stayed
there a while chatting with some other folks who arrived and the pair of
Bald Eagles flew in and landed in a tree across the lake. Got some photos
of them, too.

Otherwise mostly the usual stuff. There was a Fish Crow at Lake Julian as
well as a singing Pine Warbler. Nice morning!
Photos attached.
