A stroll around Lake Junaluska on a beautiful Sunday morning revealed some interesting birds. Of particular interest were a nice group of Ruddy Ducks, a few American Coots-- one of which was bobbing for an apple!, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Tennessee Warbler, Cape May Warbler, and Hawk (not identified). Four photos are attached. Alan Lenk Asheville
