[EMAS] Fall Field Trip for EMAS

SUNDAY, November 2, 8:00 - Steve Ritt will lead an EMAS special field trip to
Warren Wilson College to look for sparrows such as Lincoln’s, Swamp, and
White-crowned. Orange-crowned Warbler also possible. Steve has had many good
birds at this site.
No need to sign up. Meet at the parking lot by the first lake at Owen Park,
which adjoins WWC property. Directions: I-40 east to exit 55. Left off ramp,
right at light onto Hwy. 70 east. After 1.7 miles, left at Shell station onto
Warren Wilson College Road. After pass WWC, at 2.5 miles, turn right at the
far end of a beige manufacturing building; small brown sign for Owen Park where
you turn, which is just before a bridge. Drive past the building and follow
road to parking lot; park by the first lake.
