I do keep an eye out for a clean Vista Cruiser, but haven't really seen
any good ones.
and 71 Custom cruiser 3 seat, 455 4bbl. That was what we had when I got my
license at 16. Pretty stable even at 105 mph. Of course it weighed a small
city block. 6 mpg empty or pulling a camper with 7 people.

Cindy always liked Corvairs. They actually got a bad rap, and were pretty
innovative for their time.
I would take a Convert, but probably not a wagon. Cindy would love it
though..... better for hauling dogs.
She also loved our old 1986 Chevette. Little, and cute. (and almost 40 mpg)
There is also a Corvair truck with a side entry that I have taken pictures
of at many shows.

_CORSA _ (http://www.corvair.org/index.php) has had national events at
Pheasant Run here in Saint Charles a couple times. That is the same place the
Bloomington Gold Corvette Show comes to every year. Cool to see all the
cars driving around town here.

To be honest, I have never seen one before, nor have I ever heard of a

1961 Corvair Station Wagon

Very rare. Runs and drives good. New tires, new battery, glass is good.
Needs headliner. Aluminum fuel cell. After the snowstorm I took the car out
and drove around town, got around great. $1650 or trade for '55 oldsmobile
in equal condition.
