Nice.  Have you tried minimal expanding foam :)

I like wagons, though I have never had one.
Not worth the effort though have thought about it. Would be good to stiffen up the lower cushion that gets beat up getting in and out.
I carry my tools as in saws and anything you can think of along with a whole house full of doors on one trip many sacks of mulch,sand dirt etc and still looks nice. But I have a heavy marine carpet I cut to fit the floor in the back and I cover the sides when needed etc. No gunk ever touches the original carpet.
I'm thinking of asking for a bed cover for the elky for Christmas. That way I can put my tools in the bed of the elky. I don't want the $$$ fiberglass one. The one that has the aluminum frame and tonneau top. It's pretty nice and affordable. Gotta find the link in my list again though.

                 Yeah I know those that trash a brand new car. I hate crap
in my cars. When the elky gets new interior there will be a no drinks rule.
Course I'm the only one allowed to have a drink in it and I rarely do
except for a bottle of water (no cup holders so no soda) The wagon with
130K looks better inside and out than many cars with 50K. Other than normal
deterioration. The seats need foam but no replacement available and no blue
seats in newer cars. Hate to get rid of it cause the size and shape are so
handy and it has new tires that cost $52
