I did poly body bushings and they aren't bad. They noticably stop the flex in
the front end say when going into a driveway or any other time one corner gets
pushed up.
I think it stiffened the ride some as well.

If doing it again i'd like a combination of both types barring that i'd
go rubber. I did price out gm ones when i did mine and it was about twice the
cost and i had to get creative with pats as nott all were available. Had to use
ones for othey years... They all physically interchange over the years.

Just got the new OPG catalog and they have a new product listing for actual
RUBBER body mount bushings. Only thing is, they are 3 times as much as the
Poly at about $299. I went though $200 worth of hassle changing the front
A-Arm bushings back to rubber from poly and $300 in cost to put the Poly
ones in before that. So I figure the extra $$ might be worth it. THese
really beed to be done soon on Elkenstein (If I care for it at all). The
front ones have the washers spitting out, and #2 on both sides the bolt is
broken and missing.

Here is the part: http://www.opgi.com/p/suspension/24933/130/L240670.html

For years, these have not been available. I think I will go this direction
when I get the money saved.

Let me know your opinions please. I almost bought the Poly ones last week. I
am getting close to finally doing this job.

Thanks,
JC
