there was a request to switch the times for the canoeing for brothers and
sisters. I think that's a good idea.

*Purpose of Picnic:* To celebrate our gbms (volunteer or not) and provide
a healthy, wholesome environment to have fun and kindle ties of
brotherhood/sisterhood. As our first event, it sets the tone for the rest
of the year and also is good ground to gain new members.
*Our role/group norms: *Before the picnic we are responsible for food.
Reminder to bring receipts and reimbursement forms. During the picnic, we
should be welcoming, ensure things move smoothly and according to schedule,
answer any questions from GBMS.

*Run through schedule (updated):*

12:00pm -- Current board members show up to set up location.
2:00 -- We have everyone else show up
2:30 -- Duhr Prayer (Bring prayer mats)
3:00 -- Girls go to paddleboats and canoes
4:30 -- BBQ and Mock Awards
5:00 -- Asr
5:30 -- Brothers go to paddleboats and canoes
7:00 -- Fruits/Dessert Games
8:00 -- end

*Updates from Student Life:* Mock Awards done.
*Run through of Advertising:* Mainly happens through social media. Our FB
is the biggest focus with the event page, main page and bros/sis groups. iG
and Twitter and Texting groups also mentioned. Props to bros/sis
coordinator for doing awesome with those mA. Discussed importance of
marketing for future events as well.

*Humans of MSA:* On a vol untary basis, but they contacted us so we'll be
taking pictures at the picnic. Reminder that this is a representation of
WSU MSA but ultimately Islam so be mindful of what you put out there.

*Questions/Comments/Concerns:*
What time do directors have to be there? *Same time as GBMs. Only board
members will be there early, except for Safwaan.*
What else do directors have to bring? *Just the food that you've signed
up for.*

*Ending duaa.*
