You can indeed lose text if you import a text document. You need to
change the import filter from formatted text to duxbury coded text.
Another way round it is to open an empty DBT document and paste the text
in from Word.

        I scan alot of worksheets and use OCR. I put into word document.
All is there when I save. Then I go to DBT and  open from My Documents.
Many times (but not all) there are missing parts of sentences in various
paragraphs.  Does any one know the reason why? If I reopen just in Word
all is fine.
