Yes, there's an easier way to learn how many pages you're going to be
embossing. After you've brought the file into dbt, translate it with
ctrl-t; press ctrl-end; you will hear the computer say: end of file; route
pc to jaws; press the number two on the numeric keypad; you will hear the
computer say: current style (name of style you're using i.e. poetry,
style...) page number and column number.
The number of the page given is actually how many pages are there ready to
be brailled. You might always want to at least have half a box of paper
under your embosser, redy to go.
