I too have been wondering about the advantages of TGD Pro and QuickTack.

When looking on the Duxbury site there is a link to downloading a demo
version of TGD Pro but this does not work. Is there a demo available?

David, I will be interested in the outcomes of your research into this?

As I am probably the most knowledgeable about TGD the answers to the
questions are these.

Only the TraceME portion of TGD Pro can import graphics files. The
permissible files for import are:

jpeg

bmp

gif

wmf

Files can be saved for further use in TraceME can be saved as bmp or jpeg.
BMP files produce the best results.

To be used within a Duxbury file the smooth line diagram must be converted
to a braille dot diagram using the tools found in "editing tools"

First you must use "prepare to emboss the drawing" and import the smooth
line drawing in. then use "edit for embossing" and the drawing will be
converted to braille dot diagram. When this is saved is will be saved
automatically as a.sig file. File extensions need not be added.

This saved file can be imported in Duxbury using "layout" | "picture" |
"add" Then name the file and it is imported.

Further question can be directed to the name and e-mail below
