Patrick ----- Gidday David, Your problem sounds like the return of the Unicode Code Character Wars that some of us had a few months ago. Assuming you're bringing the document in from MS Word, try the following: Before importing the document go to Global Menu, Word Importer. In the dialog box set it to replace unknown characters with space (or other symbol if you prefer). Then import the document & the strange unsearchable symbols should be gone.
