I wish I could give you a magic formula for making Web-Braille files
emboss correctly, but my best advice is to leave Duxbury out of it as
much as possible. If you can copy the file from the command prompt by
typing copy C:\filename.brf name of port, like copy C:\1077v016.brf
lpt1, then Enter, you're better off. The other trick is to put the Web
Braille files on a disk by themselves and just say copy A:\*.* lpt1 (or
com1 or whatever). At the very least, if you need to use Duxbury, you
have to make sure to have a template that tells Duxbury to emboss
without interpretation; no page numbers, etc. etc. etc. Running
straight from the command prompt works better, though, to my mind.

I would like to share in the steps needed to download and emboss web
Braille files. I haven't tried but it wouldn't hurt to have a leg up.

Are any of you downloading and embossing web braille files? If so,
would you please write me off list? I need some direction and the FAQ
on web braille did not answer my questions.
