hello, index v4 users. I'm using a similar embosser; what version of firmware is installed on yours? second, don't forget to install the native driver before embossing with duxbury; by default it is set to a4 paper but pressing the mennu key and with down arrow up to braille options, you can set a new configuration. It is also necessary to set binding margins and top margins larger than in duxbury, otherway some conflicts could result. ----- Original Message ----- From: Laura Brauer To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, July 18, 2013 1:05 AM Subject: [duxuser] difficulty setting up new Index Basic-D Hello, I am trying to set up my new embosser, an Index Basic-D. It seems to be functioning properly except that the page breaks aren't falling where they should. I'm sure the problem is an error on my part setting up the embosser on Duxbury. I'm doing interpoint. Pages 1 and 2 are fine, but Pages 3 and 4 of the file start too low on the page. I've tried files created in Duxbury 10.6 and new files created in Duxbury 11.1 and get the same results. My goal is to produce pages with 40 cells per line and 25 lines, but at this point I would settle for something close to that with proper page breaks. Could somebody using an Index Basic-D V4 and Duxbury 11.1 SR4 please tell me the specs they used to set up their embosser and I will mimic that. Thank you. Laura J.
