We just did a Hardy Boys book in UEB and the word "whereabouts" was contracted
by DBT using the shortform for "about" but our proofreader marked it wrong,
citing page 229 of The Rules of UEB, Appendix 1: Shortforms list. According to
that list, it's okay to use the shortform for 'about' in the word "whereabout"
but not in "whereabouts". Would you all agree? And if so, could DBT make that
change in the next update? Thank you!
Best wishes,
