Hi Don: I hope you can find somewhere else than Freedom Scientific to check out the embosser, or better still if anyone on the list can help. However, I would strongly advize not sending the embosser to Computer Assistive Technologies in Florida. I bought a refurbished Versapoint from them in February; had it only two weeks when it started having problems. It was sent back on June 5, and to this date, still haven't heard from them. I have sent numerous emails, left numerous calls to no avail. At this point if I had the embosser I would rather pay 700 dollars to Freedom Scientific than not to have my embosser at all and wonder if I will ever get it back. Like you I don't know where to turn in this situation. This company advertises they have a ten day turn-around, guess ten days is much longer in Florida than here in Arizona. Best of luck.
