Hi Brett,

This is what's called a "DUSCI" character value. DUSCI is a
character encoding that is used internally in DBT. It is
based upon the ASCII and Unicode encoding standards.

For a full explanation see the Help, Miscellaneous, Special
Characters topics.

Essentially in DBT, if you hold down the Ctrl key, and press
the right hand square bracket, a dialog will come up asking
you to enter a DUSCI value.

In this case, if you were to enter "ee52" is would produce a
TM (Trade Mark) symbol.

George.

Warren,

Interesting since there has been a DUSCI code (ee52) for a
long while.

George.

George

We don't have a trademark symbol yet for BANA.

        Hi Kay,

It appears to be OK in UK Braille (dots 4,5 +
2,3,4,5) but I'm checking US Braille.

        George.

        George,

At the end of this message is the word book port and
right after it is the TM symbol. I couldn't find it in the
Jaws list of symbols but this is the sign that DuxBury is
replacing with the ch in in.

        Book Port(tm)

        Hi Kay,

Do you think you could send at least one sample file
exhibiting the problem to support@xxxxxxxxxx please? If
it's a new problem, I'm sure we'd like it nailed before
Service Release 1 comes out.

        All the best,

        George.

        Hi all,

When we run some documents using the newest version
10.6 a ch in in sign shows up in weird places. When we use
an older version it does not show up. by ch in in I mean
dot 16 and dot25 twice. I'm sure there is an easy fix but
could someone help me out.
